The Story Behind Bullish
I spent most of my life being the heaviest person in the room.
School was where I first understood what it meant to be invisible, not because I wasn't there, but because I didn't want to be seen. The weight defined how I moved through the world. Quietly. On the edges.
Then I moved to Sydney for university.
Living alone for the first time, I stepped on a weighing scale and saw 105 kilos staring back at me. A number I'd been avoiding for years. Something shifted that day, not dramatically, not overnight. Just a quiet decision to stop accepting the version of myself I'd settled for.
I started training. Eating clean. Showing up consistently.
Nine months later, I'd lost 24 kilos.
But the bigger change wasn't physical. It was the realisation that the same principle behind every rep, every early morning, every uncomfortable decision, applied to everything else in life.
You invest in yourself. You get returns.
That's where the name comes from.
In financial markets, being bullish means you back something to grow. You believe in its long-term upside enough to put everything behind it.
I came back to India in 2024 and looked at the men's athleisure space with that exact lens. I saw a gap, no Indian men's brand that actually spoke to the guy who trains hard, understands performance, and gives a damn about what he wears. Most brands started with a logo and a supplier. I started with years of being inside the problem.
I knew what cotton does to your body mid-workout. I knew what the wrong fit feels like at kilometre six of a run. I knew because I'd lived it, and I decided to build something better.
Bullish is that something.
Performance and leisure wear built for the Indian man who moves, in the gym, in life, in ambition. Every fabric choice, every trim, every fit decision made with one question in mind: does this work as hard as the person wearing it?
This brand is a bet on the Indian man who's betting on himself.
